Calligraphy

It's a silly post, I guess, but I am proud of the things I do as research and really grateful that my journey as a writer has given me the opportunity to develop new skills. I wrote a chapter in Morrigan about her learning to write, and I recently started learning Blackletter calligraphy as a skill within my reenactment group. My horrendous first attempts reminded me of the way I described her own attempts to write, and when I realized that, I tried writing her name a few times so I could take this picture:




I don't have the sort of following some authors do - I know this won't make many people as excited as it made me - but I am proud of the fact I create things from my books, and this was something I felt I should share.
