I'm a British fashion designer who accidentally discovered I am passionate about writing.
My work is generally quite dark,and although it is predominantly based in a fantasy world it puts a lot of emphasis on human emotion and the way that things shape and influence people.
One of the things that I didn't like in the books that inspired me to start writing is the fact that people go through traumatic things and then move on and forget what they went through. My personal experience has been that when you go through traumatic things it changes who you are as a person and so I try to show the ways that people change as a result of the things they go through in my work.
I also try to explore the idea that people who seem evil or bad have their own motivation and that things are not always as clearcut as they may seem.
